Preschool

Purpose: Sunnyside Christian School Preschool's purpose is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education for children ages 3 and 4. It will prepare preschool aged children for kindergarten.
     Christian schools are special places, supported by God's people, that help parents give children roots and wings. Each subject taught from a Christian perspective helps children grow roots deep into the rich soil of God's Word, the story of his people and his creation. These roots help God's children understand their place in his world. A Christ-centered, Bible-based education gives strength to children's wings, enabling them to fly with the purpose of bringing the Lordship of Jesus Christ into every area of life and boldness to live for Jesus.

What will be offered? Our preschool will focus on educating the whole child: academically, physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally.
     Students will be exposed to the Computer Lab, indoor activities in the gym, music and instrumentals, and art.
     There is one session for each age group. Space is limited.
     Preschool students may ride SCS buses if accompanied by an older sibling who attends SCS.

• The three year-old class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Class size is limited to 18 students.
• The four year-old class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30-11:00 a.m. Class size is limited to 20 students

How is my child accepted for enrollment? Applications are available at Sunnyside Christian School, or you can download one at the top of this page.

Required forms for entrance include:

• Enrollment form
• Spiritual Development form
• Statement of Faith form
• Tuition, Service and Kindergarten requirement form.

Preschool is open to all and does not obligate enrollment to Kindergarten.
