This (2011-2012) is my 25th year of teaching 3rd grade at SCS! Many of you may better remember me as Miss Vis. (I do still answer to both Miss Vis and Mrs. Martinez.) I love the joys and challenges of each day. Eight- and nine-year-olds bring such a fresh perspective to our lives. When I'm not busy at school, I am often involved in the worship ministry at my church, including playing the piano and organ. I also enjoy crafts, reading, and playing board and card games. God has blessed me with a wonderful school and church community of friends and family, and I appreciate all of your prayers and support!
Provides instruction and practice of a wide range of concepts. Much of the site offers free options. However, some of it requires the purchase of a CD. Still, some good stuff here.
A site that provides practice opportunities as well as challenges for your mathematician. (I was having fun myself as I tried some of the games!)
**This is certainly not an exhaustive list of all of the available online resources. These are just the ones that I have taken the time to look at and that seemed to be done well. I hope that this list is a fun and useful tool for you and your child.
