6th-8th Band Members Optional Listening Activity:

Here's the link to a recording of Beethoven's 5th Symphony. Listen to at least 8 minutes of the recording (there is a timer in the bottom right corner of the video). You may certainly listen to more. Feel free to sit and relax during it, watch the video, or do other homework that still allows you to listen. Saxophone players, listen carefully about 7 minutes in: it has the same melody as you have at measure 22.

Count 10 minutes of practice time for this activity if you listen to 8 minutes (write "listened to YouTube recording" on your practice sheet) OR listen to the whole thing and count 20 minutes. Include in your total minutes for the week.

Must be done before Christmas Concert.
