Mr. Van Dam

Christian education has always been an important part of my life. I attended Orange City Christian School, Unity Christian High School, and Dordt College (DU!). Through the years, God slowly worked in my life and brought me to Sunnyside Christian School in 2015.

A verse that has always spoken to me is 2 Samuel 6:22a, "I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes." This is David's response to Michal after she criticizes him for dancing in the streets after the return of the ark of the covenant. The verse resonates with me because, because in life we are often criticized by the world. Regardless, we must live our lives for the Lord!
