Mrs. Graff

This is my 2nd year teaching at SCS! I graduated in 2014 from SCHS and I am blessed to be back teaching in the classroom. While I pursued an Elementary Education degree at Central Washington University and minoring in Literacy, I used the knowledge I gained while working in the valley at a local daycare and schools. As a certified teacher and someone with seven years of serving children, I am excited to see what the Lord has in store in my fifth grade classroom this year.
When I'm not in the classroom and I have some free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, fishing and watching sporting events. I also love country music and have been to many concerts!
As a teacher, I believe it's important to guide my students spiritually and academically by leading by example. Growing up as an SCS student, I saw what a Christ-like example looks like from the teachers I was blessed to have. Now I get to be the example for each child that comes into my classroom. Go be the light!
One of my favorite Bible verses is "You must be kind to one another. Kind words are like honey- sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24" I love this Bible verse because when we are kind to one another you become a positive example to the people around you, and then they wonder why kindness is so important to us. This is a great way to show the love of Christ to others!
