Join us for the SCS Foundation Annual Dinner
March 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Featuring Guest Speaker, Dr. Marvin Bolt

Dr. Marvin Bolt worked at Sunnyside Christian High School from 1984-1989, where he taught math, physics, computer science, and Bible, as well as coached soccer.

After earning graduate degrees from Notre Dame in philosophy, history, and philosophy of science and history, he became Curator and Director of the Webster Institute for the History of Astronomy at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium. Dr. Bolt currently is the Curator of Science and Technology at the Corning Museum of Glass, where he develops exhibits and continues to look for 17th-century telescopes.

He and his wife, Linda, who taught second grade at Sunnyside Christian, live in upstate New York, along with his daughter, Ariane, his son, Morgan, and his wife, Christina. Dr. Bolt also has a son, Erik, who teaches in China and a daughter, Korynne, who is a musician in Lincoln, Nebraska.
